World Hearing Day is a campaign held each year on 3rd March by the World Health Organization (WHO) to share information and promote actions towards the prevention of hearing loss and improved hearing care. Activities take place across the globe on this day every year on various themes. The theme of the campaign for 2020 is “Hearing for Life. Don’t let hearing loss limit you”.
To create an awareness among the masses about the same, a rally was organised by the Deaf and Dumb school, Ambamata, Udaipur on 3rd March 2020 in which Dr Anand Gupta, MD-Aravali Group of Hospitals and President-Aravali Foundation, Udaipur was the chief guest. Dr Gupta told the children that they were special and that being special would always help them in filtering the clutter that is thrown at them by the world at large and when the clutter is not there, with focus, goals of life can be achieved with that much ease. ENT Surgeon, Dr Kanishk Mehta was also present during the event.
Dr Anand Gupta flagged off the rally in which the students of the deaf and dumb school participated enthusiastically.
