5th September, every year is celebrated as Teacher’s Day all across India to commemorate the birthday of Dr Sarvepallai Radhakrishnan, an Indian philosopher, statesman and an erudite scholar par excellence. He was also the second President of the country.
A recipient of Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award of the India, Dr S Radhakrishnan is credited as the person who brought an understanding of the ancient Hindu religion to the modern western world through his teaching and philosophical work.
Aravali Institute of Paramedical Sciences celebrated this day with much fanfare and festivity.
